Best Era of Ruben Amorim 3-4-2-1 at Sporting CP in FM22
On 4th March 2020, Ruben Amorim was appointed as the new Sporting Lisbon head coach after the sacking of Jorge ‘Silas’ Fernandes. Amorim adopted a 3-4-2-1 high pressing tactic as his main tactical style, which he still implements today. Sporting ended the 2019/2020 season by finishing 4th on the table of the Primeira Liga. Here in this article, I will present the FM22 Ruben Amorim 3-4-2-1 at Sporting CP I recreated to emulate his real life tactic.
In the 2020/2021 season, Amorim was Fantastic, as he continued the 3-4-2-1 tactic with a few modifications, the Lions won the Primera Liga – this was the first time they won the trophy in 19 years. Ruben Amorim won the League’s manager of the year – plus he won back the hearts of Sporting CP fans.
In the current 2021/2022 season, the Lions continued their wonderful era with Ruben Amorim. They currently sit 2nd on the league table behind FC Porto, and they are major contenders for the trophy. The question is, will they beat FC Porto in the title race and become champions again? The answer to that is what we shall see at the end of the campaign.

Dude I’m paying a subscription I asked you in November to create Eddie Howe at Newcastle? You’ve been uploading managers at the African nations! Surely a paying customer must get a tactic that they set out for?
Yes I know. And I apologise you feel that way. But you must understand that Newcastle weren’t organised through that November period and it was disappointing to us in FM22. So, we abandoned it.
From this January, Newcastle made a significant change, including in their squad. So we have observed them perfectly now and it’s interesting. The only thing we are waiting for now is for FM to release the winter transfer version of the game for us to take advantage of the new squad. The same thing goes for Everton and Aston Villa.
So, I hope you understand the situation.
Completely understand thank you for explaining this
You are welcome
That’s a great tactic. Who’s next?
Porto
