My FM24 4-3-2-1 Custom Control Possession Tactic with AFC Bournemouth

Here’s my FM24 4-3-2-1 Custom Control Possession tactic. I’m starting the FM24 custom tactics series, and the first tactic I will start is the custom control possession tactic. FM24 says this about the control possession tactic “A tactic that focuses on retaining possession and pressing high to win the ball back. Looks to play out of defence and create chances through patient, short-passing build-up play”. As you know I love creating my custom tactics with two versions, one classic version and the other one an asymmetric version. Below are the two versions of my custom control possession tactic:

• Classic 4-3-2-1(christmas tree) Version

• Asymmetric 4-1-4-1 Version

This article will be based on the classic 4-3-2-1, while the asymmetric 4-1-4-1 version will be discussed in another article. While creating the classic version, I decided to try it out with AFC Bournemouth, but you can use it with any team of your choice. The tactic has been successful with the Bournemouth team, as we are currently 2nd on the table after 10 games in the Premier League, With no further ado, let’s get into the details of the tactic.
