Here’s Gareth Southgate 4-2-3-1 Tactic with England at Euros. I’m starting my Euro 2024 series in FM24, the first I will be looking into is Gareth Southgate’s English National team. In all honesty, England’s performances at the Euro 2024, aren’t all that great with the kind of squad depth, they have. The Three Lions managed only a win at the group stage, which was a 1-0 win against Serbia, and then they went on to draw against Denmark and Slovenia. Well, they are in the quarter-finals, after a narrow escape against Slovakia, where Bellingham equalised in 90+5 minutes, and then Kane scored in the 1st half of the extra time.

In terms of the tactic, a 4-2-3-1 tactic has been Southgate’s preferred tactical approach. He used the same lineup for the first-two games, then changed in the third game, by swapping Arnold with Gallagher, then the round of 16 starting was different because Southgate replaced Gallagher with Mainoo. With no further ado, let’s get into the details.
