My 4-4-2 Diamond Custom Vertical Tiki Taka with Nantes in FM26
Here, I will focus on another type of tiki-taka, which is My 4-4-2 Diamond Custom Vertical Tiki Taka, under my FM26 Custom Tactical Series. FM26 defines Vertical tiki-taka as “a quick passing style of possession and movement, with a narrower, more direct approach than the standard tiki-taka”. Just like the other custom tactics I have done so far, this tactic is equally of two versions:
- Classic 4-4-2 Diamond version
- Asymmetric 4-2-2-2 version
The first version, the 4-4-2 diamond, will be detailed in this article, while the next article will be based on the second version. The team that I used to carry out this tactic was Nantes, and it gave me a satisfying result as my team is 1st on the table of the French Ligue 1 after 10 matches.
