In this article, I will continue with my FM23 custom tactics series. The tactic I will be discussing in the article is a custom wing play – the FM23 3-4-3 Wing Play tactic. FM23 defines a wing play as “a tactic that players will look to get the ball out wide as early as possible, while fullbacks will look to overlap and exploit the wide areas. Once the ball is out wide, the main focus will be to cross the ball into the ball”.
The custom wing play tactics that I’m about to introduce to you which are of two versions as my tradition demands, which are:
- Classic 3-4-3 version
The first version, the classic 3-4-3 version will be detailed in this article while the next article will be based on the second version. That being said, let’s dive into the details of the tactic.
