2009-2010 Jose Mourinho 4-4-2 Diamond Tactic with Inter Milan. The 4-2-3-1 version of Jose Mourinho’s Iconic Inter Milan was discussed in the previous post, hence, the 4-4-2 diamond version under FM24 legendary tactics, will detailed in this article. As I outlined in the parent article, Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan lined up in two ways:
- 4-2-3-1 Tactic
- 4-4-2 Diamond Tactic
Mourinho mostly used the 4-4-2 diamond tactic in the Serie A. In the setup, Eto’o was a pairing striker with Milito, unlike the parent version where he was the right winger. Thiago Motta was the extra man in the midfield trio, replacing Pandev, while Sneijder remained the NO. 10. With these points pointed out, let’s get into the tactic’s details to understand the difference between it and the previous version.
