Best FM24 4-2-3-1 Custom Gegenpress Tactic with Burnley

In this article, I will discuss the second custom tactic that I will touch on under FM24 custom tactics. That’s the Best FM24 4-2-3-1 Custom Gegenpress tactic. Here’s what FM24 says about gegenpress: “Gegenpressing relies on every player in the team working hard and, above all else, being fit and mobile enough to press opposition immediately after losing the ball”.

The custom gegenpress tactic, that I’m about to present to you is of two versions, as my tradition requires:

• The 4-2-3-1 Classic Version

• The 4-1-2-2-1 Asymmetric Version

The 4-2-3-1 classic version will discussed in the article, while my next article will be about the 4-1-2-2-1 asymmetric version. The team that I chose to create this tactic with, was Burnley FC because they are the underdog and the custom tactics are for underdog teams. After 10 matches in the Premier League, we managed to be 6^th on the table, making the tactic a success. With no further ado, let’s get into the details.
