FM24 Andoni Iraola Asymmetric Tactic with Bournemouth
Here’s our FM24 Andoni Iraola Asymmetric Tactic with Bournemouth this season. After firing Gary O’Neil on 19th June 2023, Athletic Bilbao legend Andoni Iraola was appointed as the new manager on that same day, he had left Rayo Vallecano at the end of 2022/2024 season after turning down a new deal from the club.
Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth didn’t record a win in the Premier League after 9 games into the new season, they won their 10th fixture against Burnley. They later went on a four-match winning streak against Crystal Palace, Man U, Nottingham Forest and Fulham, which made me create their tactical replica in FM24. The tactic is a 4-2-3-1 one, but due to Iraola wanting Smith to form a back-3 with the CDs during the attacking build-up, I decided to make it asymmetric with a back-3 system. So let’s dive into the details, to see how to set up this tactic in the game.
