FM23 Carlo Ancelotti Tactics | FM23 Real Madrid

In the post, I will be looking into the FM23 Carlo Ancelotti tactics I created this season with Real Madrid. Real Madrid continued their good form this season since our post as they still top the Laliga table even though it is one point above Barcelona, I think they were just unlucky in the match against Girona. Even though their star player, Benzema has been injured a lot this season, Don Carlo has found a way to rely on the youngster, Rodrygo Goes to carry out the role.

The tactics of Ancelotti that I’m going to present are of two versions with similar/the same tactical instructions, which are;

• Classic 4-3-3

• Asymmetric 4-3-3

The tactic Real Madrid used by Ancelotti depends on the player on the right flank, if it is Rodrygo or Asensio the tactic becomes a classic 4-3-3 tactic but if it is Fede Valverde as the right winger, it becomes an asymmetric 4-3-3 tactic with Valverde bearing the role of Wide Midfielder.
