In this post, I will talk about the second version of Michel’s tactic, which is the 3-4-3 Asymmetric version. This tactic has been dominant in Girona’s tactic setup since they lost to Real Madrid 3-0 at home. In the setup, Blind, David Lopez and Eric Garcia remain the back-3, and Miguel and Couto are the wing-backs. Aleix Garcia is the single pivot at the midfield – which is what made the tactic asymmetric, while either Martin or Herrera is the centre midfielder.
